They are made using five elements obtained from cows.
They have to be placed on a bowl or plate and then lit.

๐ They are chemical free and can be a good alternative to plastic battery operated diyas.
๐ Another good alternatives are terracotta diyas, floating wick oil lamp in a glass and reusing old left over wax to make wax candles also can be a sustainable option.
